Meet the Owners

Janice & John-Marc Gallagher

Janice and John-Marc Gallagher came to Bryson City on a temporary basis, but fell in love with the area and decided to stay. They purchased the Gallery Zella in January of 2026 and reopened it as Three Rivers Gallery. Their love of art has found a home, and they are very excited to share it with others.

The Gallaghers lived in Central America for 22 years and have traveled extensively, collecting art along the way. Both have been in the hospitality business for over 40 years, managing hotels and inns as well as owning two property management companies. They are looking forward to meeting new people and sharing their love of art through the gallery.

What We Believe

Art Connects Us

After decades of traveling and collecting, we’ve learned that art is the quickest way to understand a place and its people. That’s what we want Three Rivers to be.

Local First

Every piece in the gallery comes from an artist with ties to these mountains. We believe the best way to celebrate a place is to champion the people who create here

Everyone's Welcome

Forty years in hospitality taught us one thing: people remember how you make them feel. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just curious, you belong here

Stories Matter

A piece of art is more than what hangs on the wall. It's where it was made, who made it, and what it means. We make sure every piece comes with its story.

Come See What We're Creating

We're at 166 Everett Street in downtown Bryson City. Stop in, say hello, and see what's on the walls. We'd love to meet you.
